The branch would like to thank everyone who has contributed so generously to the fund raising to enable us to purchase a new standard, in 2014, in readiness for the anniversary of the start of the First World War 1914.
Our old standard is over 70 years old and is showing it’s age. Due to the wonderful response, we are very close to our goal.

The old standard will be laid up in Rock Church, at a special service, on the 10th May 2014. The new standard will be blessed on the same day and will come into service from that time.
As the attendance at this event is expected to be abnormal, with a large number of standards and escorts from all over the Worcestershire & Shropshire area, anyone wishing to attend this event is advised to contact the branch Secretary in an attempt to avoid disappointment on the day.
Also, the branch would be grateful if those intending to come should let the branch know well in advance.
